We don’t mean to brag, but we take pride in going a step further than the norm for our clients. Here's what's included in your event venue rental at Brix Studio: 

  • Coffee, tea, filtered water Save the additional catering costs. We offer free organic tea and coffee to our guests, which can be refreshed throughout an event. We also have a healthy supply of glassware and plates available for use at no charge.
  • Free Wi-Fi What more can we say? Your attendees, speakers and organizers need it. We’ve got it—at no extra cost.
  • Set-up and clean-up Save a pretty penny by only booking the time you need in studio! We will set up the tables and chairs for your event and even clean up after you!
  • White boards, A/V equipment, and computers, oh my! Planning an event and worried about all the add-on costs of renting the necessary equipment? Not here - we hate unnecessary additional fees! Renting the studio allows you to utilize white boards, A/V equipment, conference phones, and a computer. Go wild!
  • Bring your own food and beverages We’re not sticklers for certain caterers—though we can certainly recommend good ones—and we welcome you to arrange catering with your own preferred suppliers. We also have cold drinks available in our studio fridge. Plus, we're near to dozens of fabulous Gastown restaurants if you want to take an outside break!
  • Tables and chairs We have tables and chairs available in-studio at no additional cost. See floor plan and layouts for more information. We can also provide a registration table and phone at the entrance to the studio.
  • Private kitchen Brix Studio is equipped with its own small kitchen area that you are free to use during your event.
  • Guest Parking No need to overwork your already tired feet. There’s a parking structure across the street that’s 50% cheaper than parking in the downtown business district. 
  • VIP Parking We also offer one free parking space for you on event day in our secure parking lot.
  • Onsite staff We have a team of staff here every weekday to assist with receiving deliveries, providing A/V support, answering attendee phone calls and tending to any needs that may arise during your event.
  • Transit-friendly Most of our staff members take transit to work. Not only do we believe in reducing our carbon footprint, but it’s convenient, close and economical.
  • Cell reception Some larger buildings have spotty cell reception. Though we don’t advocate for making calls during events, you could if you wanted to.
  • Coat rack Declutter! No need to rent a coat rack or create a mountain of jackets. The studio is equipped with a coat rack reserved for your event. 
  • Signage Your guests won't get lost! We create signage to your event in the building's interiors so that everyone arrives at your event with ease. 

Property and accident insurance are the responsibility of each group/person using the Brix Studio facilities. Purchase online event insurance at EventPolicy and select "Brix Studio" under the "Get Started" menu.

Cancellation policy:

More than 60 days before the event: Deposit is fully refundable.
Between 60 and 31 days of the event: 50% of base fee will be charged.
Less than 30 days' notice of cancellation: 100% of base fee will be charged (no refund).
